Due to the Treaty of Versailles’ instability, many countries were negatively impacted in various ways. These countries include Germany, France, Italy, and many recently established countries in Europe. It impacted them by ruining countries’ pride, economic situation, and power. In document 1 it mentions how Germany’s armed forces could not contain any military or naval air forces, stripping away their power as a country, which makes them more vulnerable to attacks by other countries.
When people hear the term war, they automatically presume it as a negative event in time. The mass amounts of death, injuries, and families destroyed would make one believe not a single positive can come from it, although this is not always the case; there are many positives that can come from a nation fighting a strong battle. World War II is viewed as one of the largest and most catastrophic conflicts in human history. Under the reign of German Chancellor Adolf Hitler, the Nazi party and German Army made an attempt to spread his ideology throughout Europe. Beginning with the German invasion into Poland, the World found itself at war. The United Kingdom alongside France and the United States would make an attempt to stop Hitler and contain the German attempt of capturing a vast portion of Europe. As the war kicked off Germany, Japan, and Benito Mussolini, an Italian Fascist Party leader, formed what was known as the “Axis Powers.”
World War II affected American society in a positive way. World War II brought the United States out of the Great Depression. There were acts passed that raised the tax rates, increasing the number of taxpayers. The U.S. also manufactured half of the goods that were produced in the world. The Second World War allowed women, African American, Mexicans and Mexican American, and Native Americans to enroll in the Military.
World War II had a positive impact on America as it helped the country be more inclusive. As the United States was fighting against the fascist Nazi Germany, the United States made sure to oppose their values. This meant opposing discrimination and allowing minorities equal opportunities. World War II changed the United States’ view on diversity and gave minorities more opportunities.
World War II is said to be the worst conflict in human history. About fifty to eighty million people died all together. There were concentration camps run by the Germans and there were essentially two wars raging. The two wars were the war in Europe and the war in the Pacific, which was Japan against the United States. World War II went on for six years and would destroy more land and property around the world and kill more people than any other war before.
Without the occurrence, advancements, changes and inventions in history our world would be different today. Our history changed lives and the world itself. The World War II had been the most widespread and deadliest war of all time. From the major ways in which World War II was fought in the different fronts and theaters of the war to the post-war settlement that established international institutions such as the United Nations that profoundly shaped Europe and the world itself. Not to mention, that there was an immediate post-war period that contributed to the emergence of the Cold War.
World War 2 started when Germany invaded Poland September 1, 1939. Hitler led Germany to claim land from Poland for more Germany controlled land. Germany used tactics called Blitz Kreig where you attack fast, catching the enemy off guard. September 17, 1939 the Soviet Union invaded Poland and drove back German troops.
Shortly after, WWII came around and it pulled the economy back up by providing jobs for people. Not only did it provide jobs, but it also changed the way people lived and the ideas of consumerism. People now had more money to spend on things they wanted, rather than barely being able to afford necessities. I agree with this statement to a certain extent. In the case of the Russian Revolution, World War I(WWI) brought about negative impacts for the economy, the governing of the country, and the military. Due to events in the previous century as well as under the previous Tsar Russia was facing economic problems even before WWI. However, WWI compounded those problems, contributing to the fall of the Tsardom. Under Tsar Alexander III, Russians who had previously worked as serfs for the nobles had been emancipated and given land to farm.
World War II had an enormous effect on the world's human and physical geography, during this time many countries were struggling with the great depression, and Hitler took this time of world deprivation and was voted into power by Germany in 1933, Hitler soon became dismissive of Jews and was becoming more powerful and wanted to take land from Poland which ultimately began WWII in 1939. Worldwide famine as well as the effect bombs had left behind a unfortunate reality to those effected by the fatal bombings which occurred in Great Britain, Japan, Poland, and Germany. German residents are extremely upset about the Treaty of Versailles since they have to pay an enormous amount of money called reparations. Germany claims that it is too much as the country is very poor at the moment since there aren’t many jobs and the prices of food and basic necessities are quite high. Thus, the Germans were unhappy with the government and so they voted for a horrible man named Adolf Hitler who has guaranteed to seek revenge and completely tear apart the Treaty of Versailles. He unfortunately became Chancellor of Germany on 30th January, 1933 and has been causing massive problems ever since. He was also announced as the “Fuhrer” which means leader, and became the dictator of Germany.
World War II was a continuation of World War I. WWI had a great impact on European countries after it ended. The treaty of Versailles declared that Germany had to pay for the war. This money debt strained their economy, which was most likely the largest factor in making Germany’s hostility greater towards other European countries. It was supposed to completely destroy Germany and left Germany boiling with anger. Sooner or later they wanted to get revenge, but first they had to get their economy back on track.
World war ll was and is important today due the horrors of the time and the repercussions those horrors have on us today. 1919: The treaty of Versailles is signed, stating that Germany and her ally’s would be responsible for the war and damages caused; this was often times referred to the war guilt clause. The treaty would also have Germany and it ally’s disarm themselves to a substantial degree. Germany was required to have allied troops occupy its lands for some time, most likely angering Germans living in the same areas.
