NetSuite Inc. is a software based company that was established in San Mateo, California back in 1998. It stated off as a company founded by Evan Goldberg that produced accounting software solutions under the name NetLedger. In order for the company to move forward, NetSuite received millions of capital from Oracle's CEO, Larry Ellison for financial backing. Although there many other investors like StarVest Partners ADP and UBS PaineWebber, Ellison was the biggest contributor and now owns nearly half of NetSuite's common stock. In addition, NetSuite has strong ties with Oracle Corp. since the database software that they use is licensed from Oracle. NetSuite provides four main softwares of CRM, E-commerce, Professional Services Automation (PSA), and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP). The CRM+ software that it provides delivers sales force automation, marketing automation, ecommerce and flexible customization as well as customer support and service. NetSuite CRM+ provides its customers with clear data that allows them to see every detail as well as provide the information in the most organized manner as possible allowing to view and manage data of all sorts. In addition, NetSuite CRM+ allows for global sales and service organizations to be managed and combines existing ERP data. Customers are able to view the company's dashboard, analytics, planning, and reporting in real time and even through their mobile devices. In addition, the software includes a social component of SuiteSocial that supports "Twitter-like-cross-departmental collaboration" for transactions and other opportunities(___). One pro is that the CRM+ is able to integrate data. For example it is able to view CRM and accounting information easily and in full detail without having to install add-ons, something that even top competitors like Sales Force do not incorporate. The CRM+ software is also preferred among competitors for its ability to be easily customizable. It is very convenient for users because they are able to set it to their own liking without having to ask permission from an administrator and the settings are saved even after the software is updated. Another pro is that the software is available for use 24/7. With its mobile integration, one does not need to be sitting in the desktop at work to be able to access it, which is very convenient whenever information needs to be immediately accessed.
