Sir Isaac Newton, an english physicist and mathematician, was one of the ,most brilliant scientist in history. Before the age of thirty, he had made many important discoveries in physics and even invented a new kind of mathematics called calculus. Newton's three laws of motion are probably the most widely used natural laws in all of science. The laws explain the relationship between the forces acting on an object, the object's mass, and motion. This essay explain newton's first law, second law, and third law Newton's first law says that objects continue the motion they already have unless they are acted on by a net force. If the net force is zero, an object at rest will stay at rest. If an object is acted upon by an unbalanced force its motion will change. This law is often called ¨The law of inertia¨. Inertia is the property of an object that resists changes in motion. To understand inertia imagine trying to move a bowling ball and a golf ball. Which needs more force? Of course, the bowling ball needs more force to get it moving at the same speed as the golf ball. It also needs more force to stop a …show more content…

Force causes acceleration, and mass resist acceleration. Newton's second law relates the force on an object, the mass of the object, and its acceleration. The relationship between force, mass and acceleration are combined in newton's second law. The stronger the force on an object, The greater its acceleration. The acceleration of an object is directly proportional to the applied force. You can use Newton's second law to calculate force, mass, or acceleration if two of the three are known. Newton's second law explains the effect of a force, but what if there is more than one force of an object? In this case, the force that matters is the net force. You must consider all the forces that are acting and add them up to find the net force. Then you use the net force to calculate
