This can be seen as a good thing because it allows us to challenge ourselves and think more effectively. Furthermore, it will allow us to be more focused and probably more efficient in receiving information because we wouldn’t be allowed to take shortcuts or given answers without looking deeper into it. I think without google research would become more textbook based as a result, Nicholas Carr argues his profound concern about the use of the Internet and how it is affecting our brains. Carr's main argument is that the Internet may well have damaging effects on cognition while reading; that would diminish the ability for concentration and contemplation. Carr strongly believes that the problem with the Internet is how it pushes us towards browsing information rather than digging in more deeply and considering it.
