There is much that has happened in the life of Nicholas Sparks that makes him the author he is today. Every author is different and has their own way of writing. Sparks tends to romanticize everything he writes. But like most authors, his life tends to play a role in what he writes. However there is more to the life of this best-selling novelist. Nicholas Sparks was born on December 31, 1965 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was the middle child out of three to his parents Patrick and Jill Sparks. This book sold moderately well, but it did not make him the famous novelist he is today. As Sparks became the father to his first child, a little boy, they still struggled to make ends meet so he sold his business and started to work with pharmaceuticals.
