Hello, my name is Cynthia and I live in Huber Heights Ohio. I have been a nurse for 13 years and currently work with Premier Health. I have 3 children and my little one is just 6months old which is very stressful but I know things will work out with time management. Obtaining a bachelor’s degree is a requirement for the unit I work. I plan to pursue nursing education after the BSN. I enjoying singing at my leisure time. My main concern is the duration of the course which is 7 weeks. I am very nervous and hope that I can make it through.
I have very little knowledge about politics and looking forward to gaining insight to politics and its relation to health.

“It is an Insidious, self-perpetuating problem that affects generations of families (World Health Organization, 2018).” Despite the fact that the mother had her personal cultural believes, the family had no health insurance. This deterred them from seeking medical help at the beginning because they had no money to pay for the high cost of medical services. Such issues can lead to complications and even deaths (Healthy People 2020).
Though the World Health Organization is doing a lot to improve the standards of health for every nation, I much need to be done because some people are still being deprived of adequate health and infrastructure. Healthy People 2020 highlights the importance of addressing the social determinants of health by finding ways to create social and physical environments that promote good health for all. On other hand, if societies are able to intervene, there will be an increase in host resistance and reduction in poverty’s negative effects on individuals and population. This can be done by expanding access to health care and providing resources and infrastructure that supports healthy habits, and promoting strategies to reduce poverty (World Health Organization,
