This review critically reviews the article “Oak Island’s Mysterious “Money Pit” written by
David Mac Donald, condensed from “The Rotarian”. David MacDonald is a Scottish zoologist and conservationist. This article is an interesting article giving details about adventure and human greed for easy money and its consequences. The Oak Island is a tiny island lies in the southern shore of Nova Scottish. The mystery of this money pit is unsolved till today.

The Oak Island’s Mysterious Money Pit was published in the famous magazine called “Readers
Digest”. This article is an interesting article which tells us many things about human nature. It is human nature to be greedy or avaricious and look for money. “Earth provides enough to satisfy every man's needs, but not every man's greed.” (Mahatma Gandhi) Human weakness is utilized by people or circumstances. While digging, people came across a symbol which cryptologists took to means, “ten feet below, two million pounds are buried”. People had has started to dig may put this writing there. But if they really meant there is a treasure, wouldn’t they dig and get it for themselves? When we look at this “Money Pit”, there was no evidence and there is no evidence till today, but still people crave to get it. The only thing they discovered while digging is a several links of chain made of gold. Frederick Blair, started the adventure in 1893 spends 60 years of his life to solve the mystery in futile. “To greed, all nature is insufficient.”
