The book The Acorn People was written by Ron Jones. He also wrote the books The Wave and B-Ball: The Team That Never Lost a Game. The major characters in this story are Dominic Cavalli, Ron Jones, Thomas, Aaron, Martin, and Benny B. The other major characters in the story are Spider, Mrs. Nelson, Janie, and Mr. Bradshaw. The role or Ron Jones is to be camp counselor, Dominic Cavalli’s role is to be a camp counselor, Aaron’s role is to be one of the campers, and Benny B.’s role is to be a camper, Spider’s role is to be another camper, and Janie’s role is to be a camper at Camp Wiggin. By the end of the sixth day, all of the kids were learning while growing, but the part of the most important day was that they were happy. “I gauged my own change in these day by realizing what a benefit it was to be in this Boy Scout camp.” The evidence for this is found on page 46. After everyone was done making name tags Dominic, along with his messengers started to act like Santa Claus, delivering the tags. “Within an hour every moving and stationary item had a label. With two days left till the Camp Wiggin Water Extravaganza, Mrs Nelson went to the pool for the first time. “I don’t honestly think she could swim.” The evidence for this is found on page 66. There was only one day left until the Camp Wiggin Water Extravaganza, and everything was set up. “Mrs. Nelson called everyone together, and she divided us into pirates and natives.” The evidence for this is found on page 68. It was Saturday, and it was the Camp Wiggin Water Extravaganza, which it was about to start. “Everyone went right to the pool to hear Mrs. Nelson’s final instructions and get into their costumes.” The evidence for this is found on page 69. After Ron was giving the order to act, he pranced around looking at the Native right in the eyes. “Then I walked about displaying the muscles and strength of my fellow pirates.” The evidence for this is found on page 71.
