In today’s times everyone needs health care. With the number of diseases going around you never know if you are the next one to get sick. The Affordable Care Act or Obama care can help people stay healthy and keep them alive longer. Even though Obama care has some negative things about it also has many benefits to it. Having universal health care for all people in the United States is really a good thing and repealing it can put a lot of Americans without any type of coverage. If repealed many people would not have to pay higher premiums. With many insurance companies covering pre-existing conditions and offering broad of different benefits people with health insurance premiums will rise costing many Americans to pay more. Another benefit of repealing Obama care is it could save your job. With Obama care in motion companies that offer health care will have to cover their employees that has coverage threw them. That would make the companies have to pay the insurance companies more to cover their employees. With Obama care young adults can stay on their parents’ health care until they are 26. Because “young adults seem to healthier than older Americans they don’t need coverage as much” (Obama) most insurance companies will not give older Americans good health insurance because they a liability, so young adults tend to have the better health care coverage of anyone. If the Obama care was repealed the older people that need the better coverage could receive it than get the one the insurance companies wants to give them.
Repealing Obama care could also limit the federal spending. Before Obama care the health care system in the United States was steering the nation into bankruptcy. “As of right now the United States is nearly 20 trillion in debt” (Anderson). Obama care could put the U.S deeper debt if it’s kept. If kept the U.S could end up 2 trillion dollars more in dept. if Obama care is repealed the U.S could save about 1 trillion
