In Homer’s The Odyssey Odysseus travels through many obstacles in order to get back home after The Trojan War. The Odyssey shows how you have to put in effort to get what you want in life. It shows that nothing in life comes to you, you have to try as hard as you can., and give it your all. The Odyssey was also excellent in showing the struggles in life, and the rewards. As Odysseus did in The Odyssey, I am going to surpass many challenges to my career goal. Throughout the poem Odysseus struggles to overcome difficulties. One thing he has to do is stay motivated throughout his journey. He states in the book “I long for home, long for the sight of home.” (5.86-86) I plan on doing the same if i want to pursue my dream in budget analysis.
