The americas has been made up of immigrants since we've started this country. One of the first people to this country were the europeans. I've read multiple sources of text to help back up my idea. Some of the texts that i’ve read was “Of Plymouth Plantation,” and A People's History Of The United States. My claim of this paper is, the immigrants from different country are shaping our country. This subject is a big topic in the world right now. This is because we are voting for the next president in the next month or two. One of the biggest topics that Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are talking about are the immigrants coming into the United States. Many people say that the United States are shaping the immigrants, but I would say that the immigrants are shaping the United States. In class our main reading was called “Of Plymouth Plantation,” this book was about how immigrants came over to the United States and how they survived. Columbus shaped the country by taking the natives captive. “With fifty men we could subjugate them all and make them do whatever we want.” This quote also helps support what I said before saying that when Columbus came over to america, and then he took the Natives by force. In this book, A People’s History Of The United States, The immigrants changed the Natives and also the country by doing whatever they wanted to
