Oklahoma City Bombing
Introduction
The Oklahoma City bombing was a tragic day for America and many Americans. It would change the way terrorism was looked at in the eyes of humanity. The Oklahoma City bombing was carried out and planned by timothy McVeigh.
Bombing Plans
The start of the plan of the bombing was sought out by the rental of a Ryder truck by Timothy McVeigh. He planted the bomb in the back of the truck because it looked like a regular truck and not a suspicious possible terrorist vehicle. The bomb that McVeigh used was massive, containing 4000lb pounds of TNT.
Murrah Building Bombing
Timothy parked the truck in front of the Murrah building setting up a huge part to a mass terrorist murder. At 9:02 the bomb exploded, destroying most of the building and surrounding buildings, and taking the lives of 168 people 19 of which were children. Not only was the murrah

Assumptions
Media press and reporters automatically assumed the bombing was the works of a middle-east terrorist. The bomb resembled many bombs that the middle-eastern terrorist used in the past, thought reporters. People were angered and said that all Muslim people in the country should be exiled or killed.
Suspect Sketching
When the sketching’s of the suspects were released, people were shocked because they looked like modern Americans and not Muslim terrorist. The people couldn’t believe that and thought the sketching’s were rigged or false evidence.
Misassumptions
The media were ashamed because of their blame on Muslim terrorist on the bombing of Oklahoma City. People were also scared because international terrorism took place, meaning more attacks could happen easily and more
