“FIRE, FIRE, DAMN YOU, FIRE! I DARE YOU!” yelled the colonists on the street as they threw snowballs, rocks, shells and clubs at the British soldiers. This was the beginning of what was called the Boston Massacre, it occurred on the night of March 5th, 1770. On this night, five men and boys were killed because of the confusion between the soldiers and the colonists.
One of an impactful, historical tragedy in U.S history is the Boston Bombing. On April 15, 2013, at about 2:50 p.m., two bombs exploded near the finish line of the Boston Marathon. The bombs explode within 8-12 seconds of each other, and they were about 50-100 yards apart. 3 people got killed and more than 260 people got injured. The window of the store near the explosion were broken and a window on the third floor of the Boston Public Library was damaged.
This explosion left 168 people dead and many more injured. The one aspect that all the victims had in common was that they were all innocent civilians affected by the bombing. This act of terrorism seemed so random that it left everyone was asking why and who had committed this horrendous act. Timothy Mcveigh with the help of a former roommate of his, Terry Nichols, constructed a homemade bomb which was implanted in the Ryder truck.
April 19th, 1995, a truck bomb exploded outside the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma (“Oklahoma City Bombing", 2009). The bombing killed 168 people, including 19 children and infants, and 650 more injured (“Oklahoma City Bombing", 2009). The bombing damaged or destroyed over 300 buildings near the bomb sight (“Oklahoma City Bombing", 2009). The man responsible for this horrendous event was man by the name of Timothy McVeigh ("Timothy McVeigh Biography", 2016). Timothy McVeigh was your normal run of the mill citizen, growing up in the typical working class environment in rural New York, and joining the Army in 1988 ("Timothy McVeigh Biography", 2016).
The Oklahoma City Bombing What started as a normal day turned into one of the most deadly bombing attacks in Oklahoma’s History. Claiming hundreds of lives, no one could have foretold the damage done by the bomb to the surrounding area nor to the people who have been affected for a lifetime. The Oklahoma City Bombing with lethal effects, was perpetrated by Timothy McVeigh, and caused the government to rethink security measures. Many lives will never be the same after a act of revenge caused catastrophic results. At 9:00 a.m. on April 19,1995, Timothy McVeigh parked a ryder rental truck in front of the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building(“Oklahoma City Bombing”).

As a witness to The Boston Massacre as a Patriot as an English citizen, I believe that the British Soldiers are unstable to protect us if they will kill us. The acts that lead up to the killing of five patriots were downgrading us. After are Victory in the French and Indian War we became in debt. The British officials decided to make laws such as Writs of Assistance, Sugar Act, Quartering Act, Stamp Act and the Proclamation of 1763 and more were soon made. This just anger us so a boycott was made called The Sons of Liberty the leader was Samuel Adams.
On march 5,1770 the boston massacre occur , when british soldiers in boston opened fired on a group of american colonists. Five people were killed in the massacre. The soldiers were told if anything happens they are able to shot fired. This boston massacre started by a mob that were made with the government and the military that they raised the taxes.
Call me a tory or not, but the british in the Boston Massacre were not guilty of murder and opening fire on crowd for no reason. The british completely and utterly acted in self defense on March 5,1770. Know you might say well they placed taxes on us… NEWS FLASH… this is about whether this is murder or done in self defense, not taxes. Trust me this king’s Street mess was definitely in self defense.
The Oklahoma City Bombing On April 19, 1995, a man named Timothy James McVeigh had planned to bomb the federal building in Oklahoma City in order to prove a point. He believed that what he did was a protest against the government and felt no remorse for his actions. McVeigh wasn't the only suspect who was a part of this attack. Two other men named Nichols and Fortier were also guilty of this crime.
In the aftermath, thousands of black protesters gathered at the scene of the bombing. When the police went to break up the protests, violence broke out across the city. Many people were arrested and two young African American men died before the National Guard was called in and restored order. The Boston Massacre is an event most Americans and British students learn about over the course of their education. In America, we learn that British soldiers fired upon innocent civilians, although this may not have been the case. British historians have referred to the Boston Massacre as the "Incident on King Street". After looking over the "Captain Thomas Preston 's Account of the Boston Massacre", as well as "Boston Massacre Trial Depositions" I believe that American historians should refer to the "Boston Massacre" as the "Incident on King Street". The definition of a massacre refers to an unnecessary and random killing of a large number of individuals.
