P!nk like many other female music artists in the industry, are social influencers. They captivate, motivate, and set the norm in many cases through music, lyrics, and videos. Pop culture, soft rock, and hip hop are big social standard setting in which both female and males feel as if they need to keep up in order to be part of the social “circle.” Social media is one of the biggest if not the biggest social influencer in where new trends, thinking, and style are all set. As this couple transitions from room to room they give each other a look and begin to dance, but in this particular transition the female character (P!nk) is coming into the master room with a basket full of laundry ready to be put away. As a surprise she opens up the closet and finds Channing dressed up in what is considered a feminine style. He has a dress on with a little hat, earnings, gloves, and makeup. Instead of being shocked P!nk was very supportive and helped him come out of the closet (lol a very clever pun she did there) and puts pink lipstick on him as they both enjoy looking at Channing in the mirror. This scene is making gender a performance because they are both enjoying themselves and in reality Channing is a straight male, but gives no F*** about dressing up.
