Officer Perez reports being dispatched to a disturbance at 11 Langton. Perez arrived on scene and met with Ann Mcelroy that stated she lost her phone and found that 2 kids had possession of the phone and was able to get the phone returned to her. Mcelroy stated she wanted to make a report of her phones information had been erased and was concerned of any personal information that was possibly had been taking prior to her getting her phone back. Perez had Mcelroy complete a witness statement form.
The media can be aggravating, they are constantly in someone’s business. But sometimes the media can have a positive impact on situations. In the cases of Greg Kelley and Walter McMillian the media actually had a positive impact on the results. The cases were very similar, botched investigations, little to no evidence, falsely accused, and a rally of support. When these cases were looking bleak the media stepped in and boosted the cases to the public.
Media that could reflect the real America should be based on diversity of views, pluralism of opinion as the American society. First of all, when someone provides the truth of the actual situation, that person is automatically called a “whistle blower”. There are not many of those people, which are willing to expose all secrets that would benefit the society by finding out the actual story. As Goldberg elaborates in his insider book, danger is a big risk factor to them, losing a job for example, takes a lot of courage or foolishness to do that. In the memoir, The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls, the Walls family is considered homeless and they are constantly moving from place to place. They constantly find themselves either with a somewhat decent amount of money or at times, no money at all. Jeannette, being one of four children always follows along with and listens to her parents and eventually notices that their family does things very differently than most other families. As Jeannette explains her childhood and how she is being raised by her parents, it is clear to see how different Rex and Rosemary’s parenting style is compared to the parenting style of other parents. Since their parenting style is so different, it seems that it affects their children in a negative way throughout their childhood, but in the end it makes Jeannette become a better and more successful person.

The message that Donald Trump gave about abortion was an ethical message. For the mainstream news sources, those being ABC, CBS, and NBC, Donald Trump’s comments and negative concerns towards abortion. He states on ABC news “ I Could Have ‘Misspoken’ On Abortion Comments. He also states that women who get abortions, should be punished. Quoted, he states “It could be that I misspoke,” he said of the initial comments, adding, “But this was a long, convoluted subject.”
When was it ever a smart idea to broadcast bad situations like it was entertainment? People see horrific situations and the media constantly replays it like it’s supposed to be praised. School shootings shouldn’t be heard of at all and it makes it hard to ignore bad situations when people are jumping to hear about the next bad event. Media coverage of school shootings should not be overly broadcasted because it can cause more problems in the end.
A more recent case was the killing of an 18 year old named Michael Brown who was killed by a white police officer. The media played a huge role on spreading false information such as the phrase “Hands up, don’t shoot”. This was proven to be one hundred percent false, even the Justice Department confirmed it. Yet, the media kept it alive. As seen on news coverages on this case, the media did not clearly cover all sides
Everyone's story should be told and it should be told right. Media bias also disseminates false information to people. For instance, kids need to learn how to recognize “fake news” (Wallace). Media bias gives out false information so that people can say what makes them happy. This shows that media bias is a terrible
Across the globe there are parentless children or abused children all from the fact that some parents are not qualified to have children. In a hypothetical reality, what if we could prevent unfit adults from having children, causing a domino effect that causes that child a horrible life. What if we could set up a system that fines unfit parents. Taking social services more seriously and taking a child’s life more sincerely. We could have a limited number of orphanages and less homes with abused children.
In America, Media bias is everywhere, in the United States all the information that an average American received through everyday sources, the news was most likely processed through the media and told through a biased point of view, when the media gets their hands on news if it is important then it probably won’t be talked about or downplayed no matter the source like in the newspaper, radio, television, movies, as well as other outlets that the media uses, the media only seems to share the news that they find interesting, even then the media would most likely have changed the story, in what they say is just tweaked news, what actually happened and what really happened would be two different stories, also the story would be told from one person
