Summary: Probation is a sentence given to offenders for a lighter punishment; allowing them to reside in their residents, work but also have a curfew along with other rules and requirements. The role of a probation officer is to be a law enforcer and social worker. They are too supervise the offender to make sure they are reaching the goals and providing this resources to develop.
