Peewee sat curled up on the floor of his new home to watch his four brothers and sisters. At the end of last week, they finally opened their eyes and were starting to walk on shaky little legs. At the end of this week, their fourth week, they began to pounce and leap. Now, they broke up into pairs, with each pair walking to the other end of the room. Suddenly, they turned around, ran toward each other, and leapt into the air. This was so much fun. They did all this again and again, each time leaping into the air with joy. Maggie walked into the room, giggled at the silly kittens, and then ran out the front door to go to school.
