There are many characteristics I possess that I feel can enrich Pennsylvania State University’s diverse community. I am energetic, outgoing, and optimistic. Always having an interest in what is happening around me, comparing my own opinions with the opinions of others, and taking initiative are skills that I pursue every day. I also quickly adapt to any situation and am realistic and self-confident. I do best academically when I employ my analytical skills to solve problems. My interest in cooking has enriched my ability to design dishes that would influence recipes in the restaurant business. I have learned how the kitchen should operate giving me more of an insight on how it should be managed and kept to ideal standards. Moreover, my capabilities to work in technology has advanced in the past years. Due to my families restaurant, I have the opportunity to have experience in making different advertisements. In order to boost recognition, I use different programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create appealing promotions that reach a certain clientele. Through Facebook, Yelp, and our Newsletter, I’m able to interact with our customers and receive feedback. This allows me to deem what is fit for the restaurant and organize events such as Flamenco performances, parties, and specials.
