Foremost, I am a natural born leader, capable of addressing large crowds and regulating events. Moreover, I have extensive experience in musical theatre; performing in community productions annually and teaching classes voluntarily. Excelling in ensemble building activities, I am also able to get along well with all groups of people and find conclusions that speak for everyone. Additionally, I transcend the typical academic standards for my age and grade. I have an extensive vocabulary and am able to pick up new subjects and topics at accelerated paces.
I should be considered for the Kaiser Permanente Health Care Scholarship because I have proved and accomplished more than what I thought I would be capable of in my education, I am passionate for the health industry, and I financially need to be to succeed. I will continue my education by pursuing my goal to become a Registered Nurse. I first considered Registered Nursing when I joined the Health Academy and realized how passionate I was to help others. Throughout my years in the Health Academy, my passion grew drastically. My summer of 2015 was dedicated to two internships; one being a Medical Assistant (200 hours) and another as a Physical Therapy Aide (80 hours).
The Penelopiad is narrated by two characters, Penelope and the maids. Whenever the maids tell their perspective of the story, they are referred to as the chorus line. This title symbolizes their tragic fate. A chorus is a collective group of people, they are known as a whole not individually (i.e. the maids, not “personal name”). The ‘line” creates an image of how the maids were killed, hanged in a line.
Concert Report: University of Utah Chamber Choir 4/26/16 The first piece of the evening was “Versa est in Luctum” by Tomás Luis de Victoria.. Throughout the piece, the University of Utah Chamber Choir: did a nice job of creating nice gentle crescendos. This was created by the connection the choir and their conductor created with each other.
I believe I should be selected for the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Scholarship because I am not the typical high school senior. When it comes to my education, I go about and beyond expectations. My desire to do my best in school shows consistently year after year. I put in equal amount of effort when it comes to my after school activities and community involvement. I was told at a young age that education was the key to success and from that point on I made it my main priority not to be the average student among those that settle for less but to be a outstanding student that rises to every occasion to take advantage of my education.
Specifically, I am good at applying relevant details with several pieces of evidence that supports the claim. I 'm good at

A cappella is the music style performed by pure vocal singing without instrumental accompaniment (Duchan, 2012, p. 1). Though the history of college singing could be traced back to the fifteenth century, collegiate a cappella only became increasingly popular starting in the late twentieth century (Duchan, 2012, p. 1). Though singing without instrumental accompaniment may seems to be easy, there are actually many factors that have influenced and contributed to the sound of the collegiate A Cappella. Important factors such as arrangement, vocal percussion and vocal style have formed the identical sound of collegiate a cappella groups and the sound has contributed to the music community in a bigger picture. These factors will be further exemplified
Growing up I had to decide upon being a Jack of all trades or a Master of one, I chose to be a Jack of all trades, and I certainly believe that I made the better choice. Since I have learned to do so many things, I have gained the ability to pick up on new “trades” rather quickly. Instead of just learning how to do, I have learned how to
There are many positions that I can uphold in the field of Registered Nursing such as, Travel Nurse, labor and delivery, surgical nurse, and the list can go on. To hold a position as a Nurse one must have many personal and professional traits. Some of my professional traits that I have would I am well organized, hardworking, and a team player; which I feel all of those characteristics should be held by a nurse. You have developed a skill, and strengthened society by your agency. In developing your own agency, you need to decide for yourself where the mind and body will thrive. It doesn't logically follow that just because you are good at doing something, that you will be the best at doing it. However, it has been proven that the more passionate you are about something, you will naturally start to improve. It is difficult not to become better at something you do for its intrinsic value.
In this paper, I will assess my identity and my personal history and how it relates to social work professions. I first address my personal history and cultural background, where I came from, as well as my experience in working in the community. I then talk about my overall strengths, both in personal and professional lives. My strengths are listening skills, open-mindedness, respect for diversity and eagerness to learn and improve my weaknesses. Afterward, I discuss my weaknesses, such as nonassertive communication skill and low self-esteem problems, and how I plan to address these issues.
I have many important skills that I have improved
I will use these skills to make my life have more emotion like I will have quotes made by me and my life will leave an impact so people will remember me 100,200 or even a thousand years from now. I will use everything I can, so my grandchildren will be able say they have a great family line, Don’t say I’m being selfish because I’m doing this so my family will be proud that’s why I want to be a singer, Football player, and a animal trainer because singers and football players are remember for a very long time there’s some from 1917 that are still remembered, And Imma be a animal trainer because I love animals, I want to have exotic animals that have been feared so I can warm up people to them Like Jaguars or Cheetah’s or even water monsters (Sharks, piranha,
Despite all of the time I dedicated to school, I also am an active leader at St. Pius X. At SPX, I hold the position of a youth group leader, and I have dedicated numerous hours towards this church. Even with the workload, and extracurriculars, I have maintained a job since I was 16, and currently work 15 hours a week. Another reason I deserve this scholarship is because of finances. I won’t be receiving any financial aid for GVSU, and I will be receiving $5,000 a year for academics. However, this leaves an estimated $15,000 left to pay for each year, and despite the income of my family, we aren’t even close to being able to afford that.
