Percy Jackson is modernized from Perseas by 100s of 100s of years because Percy Jackson is part of the 20th century and Perseas is from 212 bc. I showed how Perseas modernized to Percy by hero’s journey and plot structure.

The king said if you bring Medusa's head back for Perseus he could have his mother back as sure enough he brought it back and saved his mother. They have the same archetypes though and wonder why their dad and grandpa for perseas. They wonder why they left them but they get told after they learn that they are demi gods and have special powers.Mostly all stories are going to be modernized if there in present times such as Percy Jackson. Greek myths that have been modernized is Achilles and that is modernized into the movie Troy. This story is modernized in a different level though as the characters change but they are still related. They both have different dad’s but there dad’s are brothers Zeus and Poseidon. Perseus is a very old tale as Percy Jackson is present as Poseidon had him later in present times.They use different characters to explain them such as Annabeth in Percy Jackson is basically his girlfriend/crush as Danae is Perseus's wife. They are both group-oriented heroes because they start out living a normal life and then thrown into a quest and they are willing to go on that quest to save their mother(s). I consider that they are both courageous and ready to fight for someone's life and confident in moments of defeat.
