Carleton enrichment program personal essay

My academic record from grade nine to twelve ranges from fifty to ninety two. In

grade nine, I was inexperienced with advanced academic classes, and my older

peers helped me adjust to this environment, but I still had education shock in

those classes. Grades ten and eleven, I started building on my academics and

getting into the routine of making sure that I doing well in my studies. As for

Grade twelve, I'm currently still in the process of obtaining my last grades. I love

to learn and wanted to understand more, but I need to be interested, curious and

find a purpose in the subjects that were taught, and I feel that mostly my

I wish to attend university because of the many opportunities that it has to offer

for my learning. Also because of the welcoming atmosphere that Carleton has,

the facilities that could help me move along in my studies and help me expand

my ideas, and listening to open ideas that others have mentioned, to share

express and explain the core of their issues to help make group work easier for

everyone so, no one is left out. These qualities are why I want to be a part of

Carleton, for the opportunity to learn and be welcomed with open arms. The

subject I want to study and focus on is the social sciences (anthropology,

sociology...) but I want to study psychology the most. I became really interested

in knowing more about psychology, And the impacts on people. What cognitive

features impact functions in the brain? How much development, whether a small

or large impact, can affect a person's mental/emotional/physical growth? By how

much? I was really curious about it, and found it fascinating and wanted to know
