Personal leadership statement
I want to connect more and more people through art and make efforts to deal with the issues of climate change and save the planet. I would try to get more people involved in art and have clear goals for the group so that one remains well organized, self-motivated and inspire each other every day to raise awareness on environmental issues.
Whatever we do, where ever we live, we are all connected to art in some way or the other. The buildings we live in, the books we read, the clothes we wear, all those aspects of our lives display the creative intelligence of humans. Art has always been part of humanity and evolved with it. As an art leader. I personally believe strongly in what Georgia O'Keeffe, the famous artist said:” "I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn't say any other way—things I had no words for" (eCognoscente). Thus, art is indeed a powerful tool of expression and communication with in the society. Barsdate (1) comments on National Opinion Research Center and their new study that reflects a decline in the arts in the school and how about 50% of adults do not get nay arts education in school. It holds the key to the immortality, and the future generations can be saved through art. Conscious Art uses the free expression in the art to manipulate the human conscience itself and make them think alike on certain issues. The nonprofit organizations look for innovative ways to link people with their planet and its issues through art. They get the local artists to talk about what they really care about and asks them to create projects related to that concern as well as one on the environmental issues.
