Julia looked out of her bedroom window across the great expanse of moorland that spread beyond the garden gate and sighed. She had swapped the hustle and hectic glamour of London for the green and heather clad moorland of Yorkshire. It had been a great wrench to leave her home for the big city, leaving behind all she loved and knew, but being offered a place at medical school had been too much of an opportunity to miss out on.
