Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic background and education levels and it can also affect anyone regardless of race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender. According to Utah Domestic Violence Coalition, domestic violence is defining as “violence pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship that is used by one person to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner” (udvc.org). A victim is the person getting beaten, attacked, or intimidated. A person who reasonably believes that the are being threaten with imminent and otherwise unavoidable death or grove harm may in that instant tales the life of their attacker, with absolutely no requirement for prior permission from any governmental authority (Aaron Turner). Domestic violence victims have the right to kill when their aggressor is attacking them to the point of causing bodily hard. Imagine being attacked to the point that you know there is no coming back if you do not fight back. Would you make the choice, their lives or
