He cried as he watched his house burn, his wife and children screaming, as the fire slowly closed in. Shaking off his tears he ran in, his eyes flaring up at the intense heat of the fire. But the flames were too strong. He stumbled back as the cries of his loved ones seemed to melt, along with the fire, along with his hope. Still shattered from the loss, he wandered into the burned down wooden makeshift shelter. He looked around hoping to salvage some food or meat, for the fire had burned his crops down and he had nothing to eat. Suddenly his eyes darted to a puddle of golden brown liquid in place of the massive shining rock that he had found near the edge of the beach which he had left on his stone tabletop. He kneeled and cautiously reached out to feel the shining liquid. Suddenly a searing burn went flying through his arm. It was nearly as hot as the fire that he had witnessed before but it was liquid. “How would something so alike to water be so hot”? He asked himself.
