When most people think of a leader, they picture the president of a club or an organization. However, it is my belief that a good leader is actually just a good person who leads by example, rather than any other authority. In this context, I satisfy the leadership requirement for the NHS. In short, I married a domestic violence abuser and alcoholic when I was 19 years-old and had 5 children. Ten years into the marriage, when I had finally reached the end of my rope, a local police officer helped me to obtain a Protection from Abuse order and removed my husband from the home. Today was another busy but fulfilling day. I got checked off with my head-to-toe assessment. I followed my regular nurse, Nurse Clea. Since I mostly knew the routines of my patients, I started by doing rounds. I checked my patients one by one to see if they were stable and responsive.

What do I find interesting about this topic? I find interesting the fact that fast food is an American thing, but it is so different in Europe, especially in France. French is more known to like gourmet and gastronomy food than American is known to like fast food. Does this stereotype explain those differences? At the beginning of my sophomore year, August 2015, I fractured my left ankle. My second season of cross country had just begun. The whole team had a Saturday practice at Atlanta Memorial Park. We came to this park for a time trial. Not being able to run was going to be a challenge for me.

Yeah...in retrospect, I was probably going overboard last night. I was trying to experience Chicago for all of us, precisely because of our collective lack of exposure to the city, and to the mindset that enabled me to rediscover it.
