Warren awoke to the buzzing sound of his alarm--6:30 in the morning. He threw his tan comforter blanket to the wall and slid out of bed. He walked heavier than an elephant across his wooden floor to the kitchen. His mother was making his everyday breakfast--two buttermilk waffles and a small glass of milk. He ravaged it to the last crumb. Right after, he got up, dropped his dishes in the sink and went off to brush his teeth and get dressed. Sloppy as ever he got through it. Man, he just wanted the school week to end, and the school year--only a month and a half left. But today won’t help him at all--a big test awaited him. The bus screeched to a stop and Warren and the people, at his bus stop, climbed onto the bus. It took off down Washington Street, took a left onto Lincoln Street, and then onto Jefferson Street, and the school was a mile down Jefferson and then to the right, pretty simple route. The bus dropped off the kids at Warren’s school, Mountain Valley Middle School. A huge mob of kids from the other busses tried to cram into the doors that were only wide enough to fit 1 person into, which made the already frustrating day even more frustrating.
