My coaching experience was challenging but overall a great experience. Over the past few weeks, I got a chance to learn more about my client and also help her achieve her goals of water consumption. Overall my client did a good job with keeping up with her water intake. I know that it is not an easy task to write down the amount of water that is being consume, but she made extreme efforts to make complete the logs. It was difficult meeting up with my client due to the fact that we have conflicted schedules. However, we text communicated via text, phone calls, social media, facetime, and emails. She learned from the experience and she plan to keep on trying to drink water. Ally will also remember how water is always needed in her diet. Hopefully, when she have to make a choice, between water and other beverages. Ally will know that water is always available for her. Opportunely, she can always add fruits or ask for sparling water at restaurants. As a coach, I don’t want to look at where Ally failed on meeting her goals, and completing her logs. I am focused on the notion that she tried and she learned from this coaching experience. My role in her success of trying is that I didn’t treat Ally as my client, I made her feel comfortable, and I made myself available. For instance, when I brought a litter bottle of water I would send her a message saying “You are not alone” or “Hey Ally, I just purchased a bottle of water, I am going to finish it before lunch. How about you?” There was a time I sent her a picture of my full water bottle on snapchat (social media) and continued sending her picture throughout the day of the water amount lowering. When I refilled the bottle as well. My role as a coach could have been improved as in contacting my client more and making sure she was on point. In conclusion I feel she has developed a new existence, because she recognizes the importance of water consumption. Now, more than ever before, and I grateful for
