One of the things that the peer feedback discussed was the amount of well written support was present for each of my examples. However, some said they would have liked to see more examples for each point. Because my outline was less of an sentence by sentence layout of what I wanted to write, and just covered the points I wanted to hit my word choice was a bit difficult. Along with misspelled words, some words seemed to have no presuppose in the essay, and made no sense in the sentence. These unneeded words made the essay sound more vacant and underdeveloped.
Three Important Events Revision In my thirteen years of living on this planet, I have had some important events in my life that turned into a good ending. Some of those things include getting a new pet, traveling across the country, and being in the parade. All of these events had some impact on my life. On many levels my style of writing has changed, I believe that I have got a lot better in my writing. It’s still very clear that I have a lot of areas that I need to work on. Through years of writing and learning how to improve, my style has been molded by not just writing words and facts, but also not write just opinions and two sides. I put my personality into my writing by, adding hints of my own justifications and commentary. Leading me to consider it a persuasive style, (literarydevices.net) writing ideas and facts all together yet getting my point across without specifically stating it. Thinking about it we just read Jon Krakauer, he gives facts and others opinion in multiple chapters but then inputs his own information and feelings towards Chris using persuasion, I like to balance my writing like that as well.
Exit Essay Before fall semester started my writing skill were not the best as my high school was not as strict in writing structure. The way I write has gotten sloppy and careless but I saw some improvement this fall semester In semester in English 1301, I have relearn grammar and sentence structure.
Problems in an essay As I was writing my literacy narrative, I encountered three main problems. The first problem I encountered was properly using grammar and punctuation. Another problem I had was identifying the correct way to use a comma, as well as, making sure I did not have comma splices in my writing. I also had difficulty staying with one story line.

I believe that I have learned many useful lessons this semester. At the start of this semester I honestly did not know how to write a proper essay. There were several big problems with my writing style. My poor grammar and lack-luster writing skills were a real problem. I feel more confident now that I have written some decent papers and come close to completing my first English class.
As I began the journey of returning to school, one of my biggest fears, was the writing aspect in the classes. The fear of reading and writing has never been a strong quality; however, I have never able to successfully be creative in the way I learn. I understand my weaknesses and when I need to focus on my strengths. I am constantly learning new ways, skills, and tools to utilize to continue to grow as a writer. Focusing on my strengths allows me to have the security that I can be a good writer.
My expectations coming into the course were high and remained high throughout the duration of the course. The essays I wrote in the class really challenged me to progress in my writing skills. The illustration essay really served as an example of what not to do when writing at a college level. My approach of the essay was really misunderstood and grammatically incorrect.
