I remember many instances when I was just starting to be an infant-toddler teacher. It was working with little babies. Every day, you can never imagine the adventure and the joy of being with them. There were also moments that I have to pause a bit and go to the bathroom to rethink and say, “I need a break”. Take for example J.D, an 18 month old infant who always cries whenever her mother leaves. She doesn’t sleep at all during nap time and cries whenever I go to other babies cots. That went on for a about two weeks. Even at that time, I knew about separation and stranger anxieties because of one seminar I attended that summer.
