My first memory, which I can remember, is back in 2nd grade. I remember being in my classroom, sitting in my assigned seat. The walls were white, with equipment hanging around that any 2nd grade class would have. I had a teacher, who was female. She was short, had brown hair, and she was wearing a dress of some sort. My classmates, teacher, and I were doing some activity, which was being in different groups, doing different things (stations) like Math, Science, English, etc. Suddenly, the door opened, revealing the principal. He was carrying a paper. I could barely see what it said. It said something like “Congrats!”. My teacher and the principal started whispering to each other, finally calling out my name. I twitched a bit, obviously scared and frightened in what was about to happen. The principal came over to me, crouched down to my height, and handed me the piece of paper, which he was holding onto. I gently grabbed it, and thanked him shyly. He smiled and told me that the paper was an award for being such a nice and kind kid. I helped the school a lot, and helped my classmates as well. For the rest of that day, my classmates were kind of jealous, yet happy that I got that award.
