Teachers love him, parents love him, girls love him, and the boys also love him. He’s ruled the halls since year seven, and even now, whatever he says goes. How did I become such good friends with someone like Darcy Calloway? Gets a little complicated, but back in year seven it was just Darcy and Finn. They were the two popular kids.

I thought that it was smart how we had to find our reading pace for each book. It is different from Elementary School and Middle School. I liked how you had us write reflections of the books, instead of just writing the page numbers. This helps me comprehend the book better because I have to go back and re-read parts of the book that I didn't get in order to finish the writing. I read many books this year, but my favorite was Ender's Game.
Directly after robotics club and procrastination, my favorite pastime is reading. Starting in elementary school I would pick up a book that intrigued me and read it through without ever setting it down. My reading habits got worse(or better depending on how you look at it) once my parents bought me a Kindle and gave me the means to purchase a book whenever I wanted to. Ultimately, my kindle led to some problems at school because I stopped paying attention in class in order to read.
Perhaps in Slytherin, you’ll fancy your real friends. Those cunning folks use any means, to manage their ends. I have always had that s-s-sly vision of being in the Slytherin House at Hogwarts. My power of being a strong leader, reveals me that Slytherin will be my house. I can be a strong leader at times.
On the night of October 31st, the Potter family received an outrageous phone call. Informed by the police, one of the Potter’s daughters were dead, after a drug overdose at a high school party. As the Potter family, listened to the heartbreaking news on speaker an incredulous expression appeared on everyone’s faces. The girl’s mother realized over the past few weeks how her daughter was very capricious, but was unbothered by her daughter's actions, assuming it to be “woman body issues”. However, the mother was incorrect and the police investigated their house, finding many drugs obscured under a shaky floor board in the daughter's room and her closet.
As a young aspiring musician in middle school, I wanted to start a band desperately. Instead, I was known as Emerson Middle School 's’ music freak. I posted flyers in businesses around my hometown and online ads. I wanted to be like Amy Lee from Evanescence terribly, but my taste in music was different than most people. When my fellow classmates heard about my compositions and ideas, they thought it was a joke.
All my life, I was always told that I was so smart and advanced for my age. Everything came easy to me: math, writing, reading, sports, and even playing many instruments. All this came with little work. So I seldom ever had to study or practice for anything. This occurred all throughout elementary and middle school.
My application would not be complete without mentioning my favorite place in the world, Raven Court. The little cul-de-sac is home to my two brothers, my one sister, and my best friends. Less than thrilled, I moved in the summer going into third grade. While this new house actually fit my entire family, I did not want to change schools or leave my friends behind. Fitting in was not my forte, as I was the only girl in all of Clifton Park Baseball and could never pick out a matching outfit.
After suffering almost all summer, at the Dursleys’, Ron and two of his brothers came and got me. The Weasley’s saved my life. Before they came my Uncle and Aunt were starving me. They hate anything and everything to do with magic. Just saying the word magic makes them jump.
I 've learned that reading and writing can take me any where I want it to go. I can explore my mind to go anywhere by imagination, by reading and writing. However,My reading and writing experience since I was a kid until now I still having a difficulty. When I was 3 years old my mom started me to learn how to read and write. At first, I 'm having a difficulty to read and write but my mom tried her best to taught me.
It 's your fourth year now and you haven 't talked to your brother in exactly 4 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days (not that you were counting). You favourite class, perhaps stereotypically, is potions. It gives you a challenge you haven 't faced before. You surround yourself with schoolwork and Quidditch and routine socialising. It helps you to forget the crushing weight that 's suddenly pushing down on you.

The character Severus Snape in J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter saga is often seen as a polarizing figure expressing a duality of conduct vacillating between elements of villainy and heroism. While earlier volumes of the series portray the majority of the negative character traits which are often thought of as essential to the character of Snape later volumes begin to shift the role of Snape from lesser villain to that of mentor, advocate, and sacrifice both in will and flesh. The polarizing elements of Severus Snape occur primarily among fans of the series, with readers either holding feelings of contempt for Snape or admiration. The following will examine this duality of character and persona and make the argument for Snape as an antiheroic figure.
