Personal Narrative: The Attack Of Aliens

Recently the entire world has been under the attack of aliens, and slowly they have been ridding the earth of its population of humans. It all happened pretty quick, really. I remember sitting in class like any other day when the 1st wave hit. This wave consisted of an electromagnetic pulse that caused all electronic devices to shut off. The waves that followed were tsunamis in all continents that targeted coastline cities and then there was a plague that was engineered to have an efficient kill rate which unfortunately we lost our mother to this “blood plague”. When my mother had passed, my father decided that him, my younger brother Sammy, and I should find a place that was safer. After my father’s death, I decided that the only mission I had was to keep my promise and meet back with Sammy, the only person left alive who I care about. The only thing that made me hesitant about going to Sammy was the part where the 4th wave involved infested silencers, aliens in form of humans, to kill those who have survived. Towards the beginning of my trip, my nightmare of having a silencer find me came true. I was shot in my leg left to have no other choice than to hide underneath a car while my leg was losing blood. At that time, I was fixed on the mindset that I was going to die, but as I awaited the bullet that would end my life I realized that for an unknown reason the silencer had left. Since I was determined to return to Sammy, I continued despite the loss of blood in my leg, but soon enough I couldn't keep going which resulted in me slowly losing conscious. When I awoke a couple days later I couldn't recognize where I was until a guy, who’s name I learned was Evan Walker, told me he had found me unconscious during a blizzard.
