Gatorade has been around since 1965; it is now one of the main leading companies that provides athletes with drinks that replenishes the water, carbohydrates, and electrolytes in an athlete. Many professional athletes drink Gatorade so it comes with no surprise that the Gatorade Company came out with three new drinks called the G-series. These three drinks are meant to be drank before, during , and after being involved in some type of physical activity. After all no athelete wants to give half of what they are capable of performing. There are many ads about the g-series drinks but this one stood out in particular.
I was following my father, trying to keep up. With each step my foot sank into the snow up to my knee. The snow wasn’t really that deep, but it was for an eight-year-old boy. We had gone out to collect zinc buckets, filled with clear, odorless and tasteless liquid, which we had set up a few days before. This past week, I conducted an informational interview with Aaron Riipa, a Sourcing Manager in Media for General Mills (at their headquarters). I first got into contact with this person by meeting another employee at the same company. The other worker was speaking to one of my student groups and after chatting once the meeting was over he thought it would be helpful for me to chat to another person. Aaron is head of supply chain recruiting at the U for General Mills and as he could be the one hiring me someday he was definitely someone I needed to speak with. He was perfect for me as he started out in buying and now is in sourcing, which are two paths I am considering taking.
My Lemonade Phase Three SpreadSheet We had to run a lemonade stand for thirty days with a start of three dollars in assets, and record our statistics. It took a lot of focus and concentration to accomplish everything. Depending on the day would determine how much money you would make each day and what your cost was to make one cup of lemonade. If I had a rainy day, I would not make any money and tend to lose money because some days I would get no customers. On the ninth day of the lemonade project I didn't make lemonade so I can save my money so I do not go out of business.
Some people hate Gatorade because once you're drinking it, you tend to get a little bit more dehydrated so you would have to drink water afterwards. For some people that's not true at all. One food I have learned to despise is most definitively Jell-O. Throughout my childhood, I have been obsessed with my mom’s homemade strawberry Jell-O. Every time my mom made it I would have several cups within a few hours. The moment I began to dislike Jell- O was around the age of 10. I was feeling sick and was just getting over a very horrible stomach flu. Gatorade was founded in the summer of 1965 when a University of Florida assistant coach sat down with a team of physicians to determine why so many players were being affected by the heat and its illnesses. Two key factors were determined by the group of researchers: the fluids and electrolytes lost were not being replaced, and the large amounts of carbohydrates used for energy were not being replenished.
