Hi Yasna, It 's Samantha, the associate you interviewed Friday for sales lead. Sorry for the extremely late email, this is the first chance I 've gotten to write you. Today I went by Children 's Place at Eastridge, and spoke with Diana. You had asked me to see what I noticed that was different from Eastridge and Valley Fair, and the first thing that I noticed when I walked in was how much smaller the store is compared to Valley Fair. I also noticed how there is less traffic coming through at Eastridge then there is at Valley fair.

Rebels Without a Cause Not very many people have affected me in the same way as my friend Jake Fernholz. I have never realized the influence he has had on me until someone pointed out that we talk and think the same way. I only met Jake two years ago in track, when a pulled hamstring injury caused Mr. Kellerman to have me practice with the long distance kids. Mr. Kellerman forced me into staying on the long distance team and that is where I started to hit it off with Jake. It took me a long time to be comfortable with Jake, but when I did we quickly found our common interests.
Some of the dangers in following the majority are that you can get in trouble, you can make a wrong choice, ruin your reputation, change how others view you, and you will be the same as everyone else and you won’t be you. One of the ways you can get in trouble is that you can get in trouble with the law by drinking and getting a minor. One of ways you can make a wrong choice is that you go somewhere where you know you shouldn’t be and you something you regret in the future. You can ruin your reputation because people can look at you different if you don’t want to stand out and do your own thing. You can also ruin your reputation by not doing what you would usually do and you just go with everyone and what they are doing.
Meet my Jazz band. This is a picture of us in New Orleans my junior year during spring break to play Jazz. I decided upon this picture because this band has had such a profound impact on how I frame my future. My connection with music through the piano has been fostered ever since I could reach those shiny black and white collection of keys. Starting at the age of four, playing the classical music of Mozart and Bach was what my musical background was founded upon, with tangible medals and accomplishments as achievements.
It's better to be an individual than act like everyone else. This was proven by Jerry Spinelli in the novel Stargirl. Stargirl was an individual who everyone thought was weird. She did whatever she felt like instead of acting like everyone else. She didn't care what other people think about her.
The Audition I remember the exact day when I made the Rummel/Chapelle Band. I was feeling so nervous for my audition because I did not know if I was going to make the band. One reason why I tried out for the band was because my sister was in the band for four years and I wanted to follow in her footsteps. Also, I tried out because I love playing the baritone and I have been in band since I was in fourth grade.
Ralph Waldo Emerson, an American essayist and poet who led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century, asserted “Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.” Throughout my high school career, I have always been an individual who follows. I relentlessly ask others “Are you going to the game tonight?” or “What are you wearing for the banquet?” I have never craved to stand out or do something out of the ordinary.
When I ended my sophomore year, I felt as if I was on top of the world. My grades were top tier, I had a successful soccer season, and I had just been assigned the drum major position in my school’s marching band. However about halfway through the following summer, I was diagnosed with depression. Instead of trying to fight through my condition, I allowed myself to slink deeper and deeper into an abyss. I knew that in my tenure as drum major, I would need to have a stable mind in order to be effective and have a possible impact on the band

The Battle Of Verdun “Ils ne passeront pas!” Translated this quote means “ do not let them pass”. This quote was said by Henri-Philippe-Petain during the battle of Verdun. The battle of Verdun began on February 21 and ended on December 18 1916.
“It takes nothing to join the crowd. It takes everything to stand alone,” Ham F. Hanses. Too many people are influenced by their peers to make inadequate decisions. In other words, following the crowd can have disastrous consequences. Don’t be a follower, be a leader.
It was a nice day in a small village called Lolapalooza. There lived about 100 people so everyone knew everyone. It was always very calm in the small village. There was never anything that would disrupt the village people. Everyone was going on with their usual routines, the men would work, the women would clean, and the children would play.
When I strive or something, I want something, to finally achieve it, feels wonderful. When I work for something, it almost feels euphoric once I’ve earned it. That is how it feels to finally play lead trumpet for jazz band; to finally show how I can lead. How I can make the band better. Things can obstruct the view of what I want, but if I push through it makes me feel even better.
