As a student studying a Bachelor of Primary Education, it is important to consider human dignity and the common good in order to be able to combine these notions into my future career as Primary School Teacher. As an upcoming teacher, there is the essential assortment of people I will be working alongside whilst benefiting young children’s lives. My focus will be to educate the students in a comfortable and equal environment enabling their greatest potential. In order to achieve this goal, the vital issue of addressing each individual child’s learning needs and difficulties must be accomplished. During my future career, I am bound to teach children with and without disabilities. In order to create a comfortable environment for all my future students, it is vital that I am taught how to handle children with learning disabilities within the classroom.

The dignity of the human person is important for all individuals as not one human should have their “dignity or freedom compromised” (Caritas Australia, 2016). This equality statement is vital to consider whilst handling children with learning conditions as each child needs to be attended to their needs equally.
