What am I going to devote the rest of my life to? I am interested, currently, in making the world a better place, so how am I going to do this? I am going to major in Chemical Engineering with a biomedical option. I choose this path because my strengths are in math and science, while my passion is solving problems. I picked Chemical Engineering, because I see how directly through this major I can attain a career of engineering lifesaving pharmaceuticals. The skills required to be a Chemical Engineer are math, science, and planning skills (“Chemical Engineer”). I have displayed these skills my entire life, so they should help me obtain my major. I am also very motivated to find the cure to many diseases that have plagued my family, because of this I have considered becoming a Medical Researcher, Oncologist, and a Biomedical Engineer. I am just a freshman right now, so I don’t want to get stuck with a major that only gives me the option of pursing one of these career paths.
