The way how human mind works intrigue me. I am interested in study Criminology because I want a deeper understanding of the causes and the consequences of crime. The only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it." (Oscar Wilde) The role temptation plays within the context of the criminal psyche, is a matter which compels my inquisitive and analytical mind to gain a deeper knowledge and understanding. What intrigue me most are those aspects of the criminal that trigger my sub-conscience into desiring knowledge of how and why criminals function. I am looking forward to understand what crime is what exactly is classified as criminal behaviour and how crime affects our society.

I have learnt to keep up with deadlines of many various assignments. As part of my enrichment, I saw getting a job like a really important thing because it offers a much wider perspective on life, and mixing with people they might not normally have the opportunity to meet is a great eye-opener to the world around me. I'm working in an "Open Lobby-F&B" at Holiday Inn, Watford Junction. This part-time job teaches me important life skills, such as having to deal with issues or problems that arise. It gives me valuable work experience, chance to cultivate my time-management skills, and with that, comes a sense of responsibility, appreciation of money value, allowing me to reflect that it doesn’t grow on trees and needs to be earned. I was born and raised in Romania, so most of my childhood was spend there and there I learnt the importance of the volunteering. No matter the age, building relationships with people is crucial. Not only does the volunteer work me do as a student show that I am as a person, but it reflects many positive character traits that potential employers and admissions officers want to see. Volunteering allowed me to meet a wide variety of people from all sorts of walks of life. I volunteered in Romania for “Children in needs”.
