I am the ideal student for Lindsey College. To begin with, I am a driven student who has ambition. I have the desire to learn and educate myself and to strive to better myself. Next, I have proven my exemplary academic ability in my student records. I have always scored in the highest percentile in my classes and have taken a genuine intrest in my studies. Another unique quality about me is that I am well-roiunded student. Being homeschooled has allowed me to experience a vast range of activities. From scholarly to simplistic subjects, I can adapt myself to any situation. I can comfortably have a discussion about the rapier wit of Oscar Wilde or the lastest Simpson episode. Finally , I am responsible and independent student. Having a homeschooled education has forced me to forge my own path academically as well as socially.
As a homeschooler, I have the luxury of individualized teaching. This ability allows me to customize my school schedule, meaning I can strenghtn my weak academic areas and embrace and promote my strong areas. Personally, I have an interest in interational business and Macroeconomics; homeschooling has given me the opportunity to harness this ambition. As a homeschooler, I have to privilege of learning from a vast array of sources. During my academic career, have studied topics from all sides of the argument, whether it is liberal or conservative, or evolution or creationism. While I have taken a vested interest in international business and economics, I still enjoy literature and art. As a homeschooled student, obilifatory classes do not inhibit me, and allowed my creativity to flourish in a myriad of areas. Some of my favorite authors include E.M. Forster, Oscar Wilde, and Laurens Van Der Post. Scholarly pusuits aside, in my free time I enjoy hiking, coaching a local YMCA soccer team, and playing
