Whenever I ride the bus, I stare out the window as it drives onward, and I begin to contemplate some random thoughts about the world. I think to myself, “What kind of chemicals is everything composed of and what kind of properties do they have and what elements will be discovered and assist in the development of humanity?” I ponder these questions and try to find a solution or an answer, so I can learn more about the world around me and how it operates and functions. I wonder what everything is made out of and what properties elements have; therefore, I want a job that helps me learn more about the world around me and why certain reactions happen in today’s world. Personally, I consider myself curious because I like learning more intricate parts of life and examining them in detail. For example, I wondered at one point if all plants produced the same amount of glucose and later found out plants did not. Another quality I possess is that I can be focused or detail-oriented and look at the finer aspects of the world around, though I can’t say I'm the best at it. Additionally, Chemistry will help me to understand the parts of a chemical formula and the measurements typically used in it and it will help me with becoming acquainted with some of the equipment typically used in a Chemist’s job. I will need to take Geometry in order to comprehend the structure of an atom or molecule. Math will assist me in discovering and understanding more about the complex and fascinating world that I live in. Chemistry and Biology will help me take a closer look at the inside of everything both living and nonliving, but most importantly they both will help me comprehend what functions every object has at a low scale level. Not to mention Chemistry helps in learning more about how certain chemicals interact with the brain and what can happen when certain chemicals interact with each
