Computers and their immense diversity have interested me thoroughly. The first time I used a computer was when I was around the age of 9, with my uncle at his workplace. I was intrigued by the user interface and wanted to find out more about computers; in terms of how they worked and what else they are able to do. Since then I have always been fascinated as to how computers work and the capabilities of each computer. In addition, at the age of 15, I got into gaming and bought a gaming pc. I had bought each part separately and decided to put it together by myself. Whilst I was building the pc, I had discovered various components which fascinated me. This interest has never left me, I was only growing more passionate with all the new discoveries I had made whilst building the pc.

I am currently completing unit 26 which will improve my understanding of the mathematics which are involved with computer science. This unit will also improve my ability to logically and mathematically think about different situations. Although my career aspiration is to become a systems analyst, I have the required skills in programming to further in that area as well. I also enjoyed the programming units mainly because it challenged me to complete tasks such as designing algorithms and creating pseudo code. Unit 15 helped me develop my programming skills in terms of gaining a more in depth understanding. For example, in this unit I had to declare and initialise variable and data structure types and sizes to meet the requirements of the client. This then allowed me to design and implement a working object oriented application to meet defined requirements. From this project I had learned a lot in terms of programming especially object oriented programming; I had gained a more practical insight into
