There are three major things I want out of college: a solid foundation in general knowledge, a reinforced ability to critically think, and a well-rounded capacity to write in computer programming languages. I strive to gain these factors from my education. A strong comprehension in these areas will benefit me greatly as I work towards my immediate goal of earning a Computer Science degree. I believe the U of A offers the best opportunities in these respects that Arkansas has to offer. The classes offered are instrumental in aiding these pursuits. However, it is my belief the environment fostered there encourages my personal and intellectual growth as much, if not more so, out of the classroom. I hope my efforts working on personal game projects in my spare time alongside a formal college education will prepare me to enter this field. These experiences combined would hopefully allow me to join an existing development company or form my own. All of the time, effort, and resources put forth are to fulfill my dream of creating commercial quality games that impact the world for the better. This could be through bringing enlightenment, intrigue, or simple joy to the players.

How I contribute to the diverse educational environment at the U of A 500w
My interests and abilities bridge the gap between software developers and game designers, as both are fields I plan to pursue to some extent. Along with my unique interests, I also bring my desire for continued involvement in the societal integration and acceptance LGBTQA+ community. I bring with me political vocality with a mind open to different and unique opinions. I hope to capitalize on opportunities to assist other students in academic areas where I feel confident in my abilities as an extension of my tutoring.
