Since the beginning of high school, I have joined numerous of clubs that widely range from music performance to publication. An extracurricular activity that I am passion about the most is French Honor Society. I’ve learned French since I started to learn my mother language- Vietnamese. The country of baguette fascinated my artistic aspect. Everything about this country is magnificent, from the beret to La Tour Eiffel.
Since I heard about the National Junior Honor Society in sixth grade, I wanted to be a part of it because I have always wanted to make a difference in our community, and joining NJHS would help make that possible. I also want to become a part of NJHS because I want to make our school better, by helping students get more involved with after-school activities, like going to football games, and community service, even if it’s as small as donating a can or two to the food bank. I believe I can contribute both my optimistic attitude and my leadership skills to NJHS. My optimistic attitude allows me to never give up and hope for the best possible outcome of a situation, which helps me to finish projects with quality and effort before they are due,
Application #16 National Junior Honor Society Council Members National Junior Honor Society February 10, 2023 National Junior Honor Society Application Essay Being an asset to Holly Academy’s Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society is a great responsibility and honor, and I feel I am an ideal candidate. First, I am an independent thinker and am able to keep up with assignments and homework. Second, I am able to set goals and work toward achieving them. Additionally, I have an importance of leadership and school pride. In conclusion, I will be an asset to the Holly Academy Chapter of the National Junior Honor Society because I have high academic and behavioral standards, a willingness and desire to help others, and an ambition to become a member.
The enchanting skyline that travels for miles and miles; lights that reach the stars illuminate the dark sky; melodies of busy streets and hustling people fill the air. This is the city that never sleeps. 8.5 million of us shine to enliven the streets of New York City, doing our best to last through the dark. As humans, we are attracted to changes in the contrasts of hues, which is why we are mesmerized by flickering lights. Lights signal certain thoughts, and based on their origins, we walk a path of induced curiosity.
National Honor Society is a great opportunity for me. I heard that there is a lot of people who have good leadership and provide awesome ideas in national Honor Society. I would like to be member of this, acquire a great experience, and share my ideas to contribute volunteer, donations and so on. I love to see people are happy when I help them. joining NHS would allow to me grow as a person and provide me a way to go a great future.
Honors Academy? Jr. Honors Academy students acquire sophisticated academic skills and increased self-confidence in preparation for college by engaging in rigorous courses of study. Academy members will also participate in a small learning community that focuses on character development and academic success.
To become a member of the highly esteemed National Honors Society would mean that I have achieved my goal of being an archetype student for North Penn High School. When I was 14, I saw my remarkable cousin walk across the stage to receive her award for all her years of dedication to be inducted into National Honor Society. She encompassed all the requirements for entrance into the National Honor Society and ever since then, I have had my mindset on following in her footsteps and stepping even farther to conquer the indefinite. As I opened the letter to be invited to apply for membership, I could not even remember the last time my eyes and smile sprouted that immense because to me, being nominated to be a member of the National Honor Society is an honor in itself. I would be thrilled to join such a society because of the limitless opportunities it would present to me. Joining NHS would allow me to grow as a person and do as much as I can for others.
To what extent is the literary devices shown in Persepolis increase the impact of the novel and show the culture of Iran in the 1970s? In the novel Persepolis by Majane Satrapi, she tells the story of her life living in Iran in the 1970s. In this novel she discusses the atrocities committed by both sides of the bloody Iranian revolution and how both sides truly were. In the novel, Satrapi uses several literary devices to enhance the meaning of the novel to a much greater degree than directly telling the reader. Still, these literary devices also allow the reader to peer into the very culture of Iran in the novel and how certain objects can mean certain things both from within the culture and the context of the novel.
This scholarship is a wonderful opportunity for students of GVSU, and I am honored to be considered for this scholarship. I believe that I am a great applicant for this scholarship, and that I deserve this scholarship. One reason I deserve this scholarship is because of my strong academic courses. Throughout my high school career, I pushed myself academically by taking a total of 10 AP classes and 7 honors classes. These classes were all challenging, yet I pushed through with determination to complete the classes to the best of my ability.
