Personal Statement: Why I Want To Be Staff

Why do I want to be Staff?

I would love the opportunity to be staff because I would like to make the server a more friendly place for all the users that come across this wonderful server. I have often found, with the late nights I have had recently, that there are never any moderators on. I would like to change that. With me as helper the chat can be a safe environment for all the youngsters that play on the server that do not be introduced to swearing or inappropriate themes spoken of at such a young age. I have spoken to, and gotten to know a few people on the server who are unhappy with the profanity that is in the chat, but there is no one to stop anyone doing so. But that is the past. I would be quite the active staff member, and being the only staff member (to my knowledge) in the eastern part of Australia, I would be able to help those people on at un-godly hours having any issues or questions. I am very knowledgable with the commands and little nick nacks of the server, as well as being a very proficient typer, I can answer peoples questions in a very short space of time, making me quickly available to anyones issues. I know I would be able to set a very good example for the lower ranks and less experienced people on the server. I would welcome everyone to the server with a warm greeting as soon as it has come to my attention that they are in need of help I would be there by their side, helping them with their every need. I would be able to hop on when there weren't any staff and make sure everything is alright in this tight knit community until I was no longer needed (when another staff member comes

Twas when I was quite the youngster, so I have learnt from my mistakes. I was muted because at the time, a lot of people were spamming this one phrase. I, though, was not aware of this because I was building something, and not really paying attention to the chat. And I saw the moderator that was on at the time say "whoever says *the phrase* again will get muted". And I, for some odd reason, thought that it said something else. I think I thought I would get something from saying it :p. Turns out I did, I got a "muted". It was only for about 5 minutes so I had plenty of time to realise what I had done wrong
