Lucas Schodowski Mrs.Ramin Language and Literature 8, Hour 6 7 December 2015 Always Live Life to the Fullest In the short story “On the Sidewalk Bleeding” by Evan Hunter , Andy who is a 16-year old boy, while leaving his girlfriend Laura at the dance to go get some cigarettes he soon gets ambushed and he eventually gets stabbed by a Guardian with a knife and he is left all alone on the sidewalk in the rain lying down where he will be stationed for the remainder of the story. This is where he will ask and tell himself many things, including what he could have done through his life. In this story Andy realized that life is short and you should always live life to the fullest because he realized he was dying at a young age, he regretted becoming a Royal, and he left Laura abandoned by herself at the dance while he left to go get cigarettes.
People may know about climate change and the drastic changes it is having on the environment, but what they may not be aware of is that another degree increase in the world’s average temperature will cause even bigger problems for people all over. Climate change is long term shifts in temperature and patterns in the weather. Greenhouse gasses, gasses that trap heat in the atmosphere causing it to warm up are at an all-time high due to humans and the amount of fossil fuels we use. The most crucial result of climate change is global health, but animal endangerment and the rise in sea levels are also very important effects.

In only about 140 years, the average global temperature has increased 0.8 degrees celsius, and the ramification is the irreparable destruction of the place where we and millions of other species live. The most important consequence of climate change is the global increase in temperature and how that is affecting various animal species all over the Earth, the health of humans, and the rapid rise of sea level.
Climate change is believed to be the biggest issue facing the Earth. It is a long-term change in the Earth’s temperatures and climate (“Climate Change”, Dictionary.com). Our atmosphere is part of the reason why we can live on Earth with reasonable temperatures. Humans have been emitting unnatural greenhouse gases, like coal, oil, and gas. This is changing the natural systems that take place in our atmosphere.

Climate Change is one of the most unsettling problems mankind faces today. It leaves an impact on every single living thing, on every continent, no matter the privilege. Long term investment must be used to change the world. People must do more than just change out their light bulbs for eco-friendly ones, or drive fuel efficient cars. The reasons we are heading in the wrong direction is because the actions of humans are causing Climate Change, and almost all scientists agree on this matter. Another reason is the that the government isn’t trustworthy in what they say about Climate Change, meaning what they say about Climate Change is wrong, and we should change our policy on Climate Change.
Nowadays, climate change is the biggest concern for the world issue that each country need to find the solution and take action to address that issue. Because climate change causes health problems, so health care is also a big problem, big concern for everyone as well. I.
