When you walk into orientation, a group of ladies will be waiting to greet you, sign you in, give you a t-shirt, and direct you to your seat. After everyone gets settled in their seats, there will be a short presentation about Greek life at UNA and there will be a short fashion show that will inform you of what is and is not acceptable for the different nights of recruitment. A few women will speak about exactly what will take place in the following days and their different Greek life experiences. After all of this, you will be split up into Gamma Chi groups and sent to a separate space to discuss rules and guidelines for the week. Before going over the guidelines, your Gamma Chi leaders will introduce themselves and ask the members of your group to go around and tell a little about themselves, this will be the girls you will stick with all week when attending different parties. Your leaders will pass out packets that have information about the sororities and the guidelines for the following week. There will be rules that you have to follow, like having to give up your phone during the hours of parties and you can not talk about the different sororities with the members of your group. Your Gamma Chi will tell you what time and where you should meet the next day and that you should wear the t-shirt you were
