Many things are wrong with the world. but they are all things we can fix, so why don't we? Why can't we end human trafficking? Why can’t we end drug trafficking and get it out of our schools? Why can't we end world hunger? We have so many things that are a problem, but that aren't getting enough attention. Human trafficking is a huge problem not just in the US, but all over the world. Women, girls, and young men are all victims of getting either lured into the trafficking lifestyle or being abducted. With the promises of jobs and housing, people are being taken and sold into slavery, and even more so, sexual slavery. People assume that this doesn't happen often, or this just doesn't exist at all. But the harsh reality is that the world is not a safe place and this happens every single day. After some research, I discovered that human trafficking brings in $32 billion every year. Approximately 300,000 Americans under the age of 18 are being coerced into the slave trade every year. We need to have more awareness as a country about this and work to end the slave trade for good. …show more content…

We could stop if we wanted to, or if it was seen as a bigger problem. After looking at several testimonies from previous drug users, they all came to then same conclusion; drugs are useless and ruined their lives, but they couldn’t stop without help. On average, 570,000 people die a year because of drugs. Drug importation is something that has to stop. Imagine how much better of a society and of a country we could be. If we built more rehab centers and helped people, we could not just be improving their lives, but the lives of everyone around
