Can you imagine yourself killing another person? Better yet forgetting that you did! Adnan is guilty! Adnan was a 17 year old Muslim male in high school who had a reputation as a good student. But later he was convicted to the charge of his ex girlfriends murder. Adnan worries about someone calling him and whats hes going to say. There was indeed a pay phone at Best Buy. Adnan was with his phone when after track practice. Adnan lied to the police. Adnan could have gone in a mental state where he did kill Hae but doesn’t remember. Jay has the main picture drawn out right for the police to link the murder case to Adnan with the help of Adnan’s cell phone records. This is where the conviction starts.

According to Sarah in Episode 12, she states “There was a pay phone at Best Buy according to 1994 architecture of Best Buy.” This quote is saying that there was a pay phone at best buy. This matters because in Jay’s testamony to the police he says that Adnan calls him using a payphone at best buy stating he killed Hae and wanted Jay to pick him up there. This supports Jay’s story of when Adnan killed Hae at that point and went to pick Adnan up. “Jenn says she remembers Jay getting phone calls while he was at her house. Jay says he remembers getting phone calls while at the house. Both of them also reference a landline call. Jay says, “I get a call on the landline, and that’s when I leave.””- Julie Snyder episode 12. “Meaning, right? This incoming landline call is Adnan calling in looking for Jay.”- Sarah Koenig episode 12. This matters because if Adnan is calling from another cell to his own, which Jay has. Then he must be making the Best Buy call especially when Jenn say that someone is looking for Jay at that appointed time and Jay continutes his narrative to the police saying he went to Best Buy to pick up Adnan. This supports the fact that Adnan did indeed make the Best Buy call according to Jay’s narrative and Jenn as a witness when Jay was at her house. He was curious and his bitterness grew over time and finally he just snapped when his girlfriend kept leading him on which led to him killing Hae. Adnan was panicking over a phone call from the police. He did call Jay to pick him up from Best Buy using the Pay phone near by. Adnan just so happen to have his phone during the time where he was supposed to be disposing if he body and abandoning Hae’s car. Adnan wasn’t giving the police accurate information of whether or not he asked Hae for a ride after school. He has a 50 percent chance of going to a state where he doesn’t remember himself doing any bodily harm to Hae. Jay ultimately helped the cops solve the case with his first hand experience of being with Adnan for the most part of his quest to kill Hae and assist to bury Hae and leaving her car behind. Ultimately Jay may have had some inconsistencies but for the most part he kept his story a lined. I mean what are the chances of getting the right story to fit the cell records for the major events that happens during the crime
