Recommended: Are school uniforms beneficial

Against dress code I believe school dress code should not be a thing because I think school should be about learning and not to focus on how kids or dressing today. Kids today are forced to go to school at 7 A.M. They already don't want to be here and they definitely don't want to wear clothes they feel uncomfortable in.

The reason why I think we shouldn't have a dress code is because the definition of school is “an institution for educating children.” That's right. School is about education so why do you dress code kids today and take time out of their important classes like math, english, history, and since just so they have to take off their hoodie or change out of their sweat pants or leggings. Kids just want to learn and to be comfortable even if you dress code them one day it's not going to stop them the next day. I think you guys should focus on the fact that kids who are being bullied are people who smoke in the bathroom, but it seems to me you guys care more about dress code than kids education and any other issues we have in this school that are more important. School uniforms are also a waste of money because you have to buy new school uniforms every year because they get worn out so fast instead of wearing whatever you want. Like for example what do kids do most on the weekend? They go to the mall and go shopping to buy clothes that they can only wear on the weekends that to me is more of a wait for money.
