Drug testing in public schools has been a controversial topic for many years. While some people believe it is necessary to ensure the safety of students, others argue that it violates their privacy. In my opinion I would argue for Drug Testing in Schools because it’s a different but a much better way of figuring out who is smoking in school. Students have the right to come to school without having to be involved with drugs. Drug testing has many benefits and can really help. Drug testing in schools can encourage the students to stop usage of drugs and help identify those who need help and support. Additionally, it can make schools safer for everyone and promote a drug-free environment for everyone to feel safer and comfortable. Ideal to those students who have the right to show up to school without having to fear everyday. Drug testing is the best possible way of increasing drug usage in a school and helping those who need it. It can also ensure the health and safety of everyone.

In my opinion it’s for the best for schools to be drug testing students because the school wants to get the students the help they need including helpful resources and more for that student. I also think that because it can help the school by creating a safer environment for the students.
